Article 117: Prohibition of associations

It shall be unlawful to establish, maintain or belong to any association of persons who are organised and trained or organised and equipped for the purpose of enabling them to be employed for the use or display of physical force in promoting any political object.

The provisions of this article shall be enforced in such manner as may be provided by Parliament.

This article prohibits the establishment of, maintenance of, or membership in associations of persons who are organized and trained or equipped for the use of physical force to promote political objectives, with enforcement to be provided by Parliament.
